About Tony Morales
(Owner, Director, Master Teacher and Choreographer)
Mr Morales started his Gyrotonic Training as a professional dancer at the Original White Cloud Studio In NYC in 1989. After training for 3 years he was inspired to learn how to teach Gyrotonic and was fortunate to be able to learn from Juliu Horvath as he was just starting to make Instructors in his newly created system. After almost 9 years of successful teaching Mr Morales was granted Master Teacher status by Mr Horvath. Mr Morales is a Master Teacher on The Specialized Equipment as well as The Foundation Training process.
As a dancer Mr Morales danced professionally for various companies here in the US, has been on faculty at Jacobs Pillow as well as teaching at many dance studios and festivals here and abroad, has been assistant to Milton Myers for a number of years and has produced his own original works for Dance Festivals and concerts here in NYC.
His works have been praised by NY Times critic Jack Anderson as well as Theologian and writer Barry Ulanov.
